Treasures is where the locals go and the friendly owners and staff make tourists feel like locals!! Not only are the soups made fresh daily, all the breads are homemade as well! Several kinds of coffees, a good selection of wines and cookies and muffins to die for...and Sunday afternoons you can enjoy any of the above or one of the great sandwiches while sitting on the porch listening to live music by Fritz and Fagan! My all time favorite place in Red River!
Plus, they have wonderful artwork, pottery and beautiful jewelry!
Went several times during my week-long stay in RR. Yummy food: tried the Cobb salad, Sweet Potato fries, and a Morning Glory muffin. Employees were unhappy-looking, but semi-friendly, until today; I had a horribly grouchy woman take my coffee order, get it wrong, and then tell me to fix it myself. Yikes.
Sweet tater fries were under cooked.
Turkey sammich was excellent on rye bread.
Waitress never came back with ranch dressing.
Chicken salad was very good.
Great place to get a sandwich (or a picnic lunch to go) with homemade bread. Breakfast pastries and kolaches are also homemade and good soups.
