Valley condos is the place to be for my family. Removed from the traffic and "party" but just around the corner to RRSA. Our condo was furnished beyond my wildest and was also well decorated and homey. We definitely made good use of the cooking area and with 7 people we were fully accomodated in condo #126. We grilled in the snow, cooked and baked in the kitchen, enjoyed the hot tub, and caught a family movie on HBO, all in the picturesque beauty of wall to wall mountain and wildlife. Deer regularly passed by our back door every night; I dont remember that amenity in the lodging description. We will return. This is the best condo on the best mountain with the friendliest people.
Great location just in the edge of town, with a stream out front and the Red River behind it. Condos are nice, clean, and comfortable.

We have nothing bad to say about our stay at all. Condo was clean, beds very comfortable, décor was great. We had a late arrival on our day to arrive and the staff was more than willing to accommodate us and stay until we arrived. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the town and any activities that were going on that would interest our family. Pricing was great, we had all the amenities of home with plenty of space. We will return and suggest these condo's to anyone going to stay in Red River NM.
It's very out-dated in virtually every conceivable manner: carpeting, furnishings, bedding, electronics, etc. It is clean- a very big factor for most every traveler, but other major factors fall well short.
Most important: like many other places, Valley Condos claims to have "wifi internet". They do have a network access point. I had a fax machine in 1998 with a faster, more dependable connection. I'm flat tired of VRBO's and leasing agents claiming to offer Internet connection when it isn't enough to even get email. Where I am from, to make false claims is unethical, dishonest, and downright lying.
I can look past old tube TV's, carpeting fit for a boat slip, pergo floor from a double wide, and towels like auto shop rags, but in today's world being connected is very important to some. Bedding is also of critical importance. This unit fails miserably on both counts.
I couldn't recommend this place for anybody that requires comfortable bedding, furniture, or to be connected to the outside world.
