I wouldn't recommend this campground unless you have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle with plenty of clearance. We drove to NM last weekend in our VW Jetta with the expectation of getting to the campground but the road is incredibly rough and rocky, with lots of potholes and water crossings. Luckily, we were with friends who have a 4x4 truck because if something would of happened to our car we would of had no way of getting in touch with anyone as there is no cell service. The road was so bad we turned around after about 7 miles. I wish I would of known it would be 20 miles of that kind of road to get to the campground - we would of drove our 4x4 truck instead. Bummer. I was really looking forward to camping here, It looks beautiful!
